It’s been a tough season for the Atlanta Falcons and they’ve been a perennial contender.
The Falcons lost four of their first five games, and they had a terrible home record during the postseason.
But now they’re headed back to the playoffs and looking to make their first Super Bowl appearance since 2006.
Falcons owner Arthur Blank is reportedly looking for a replacement for the team’s star wide receiver, Julio Jones, and the Falcons are reportedly in talks with some of the NFL teams that have the best player on their roster in their first round of cuts.
But according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has been talking to other NFL teams about his new coach, Antetokoumpo.
Quinn was a star player for the Falcons, which have lost their last six games.
But after he retired, he became a coach and coach after that.
So, he’s talking to others about his coaching staff and getting someone to work with him to figure out who the best quarterback on the team is, The AJC reported.
A few teams, including the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders, have already been linked to Antetos and the two teams are rumored to be on the same page.
Antetokouloumpos, 28, is averaging a career-high 13.4 yards per attempt.
The Georgia native was a first-round pick by the Falcons in 2013.
He was cut in March of last year after a poor 2016 season.
He started all 16 games in 2016 and averaged 6.6 yards per reception and a career high 32 receptions.
He had 17 catches for 201 yards and a touchdown.
