By Football Italiano Staff The sporting newspaper Il Corriere dello Football says Gianlucchi Di Marzanio, owner of Serie A side AC Milan, has signed a new four-year deal with the club.

The Italian will become the new CEO of the team, which was sold to former boss Roberto Mancini in 2016 for €55m.

La Gazetta dell’Osservatorio reported the signing of Di Marzo on Wednesday, confirming his hiring.

Di Marzi, who was the CEO of Milan in the late 1990s, was previously the chief executive of the club in 2001 and 2003.

He will take over from Gianlucho Del Piero who was appointed as CEO of AC Milan in July 2017.
