Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market this summer with a number of new players being linked with a move to the club.

With a squad of 23 players, plus the likes of Luis Suarez and James Milner, all on loan, Liverpool have spent considerable time in the market this season and could be in a strong position to make a splash next season.

Here are some of the new signings Liverpool are targeting:Liverpool’s main target for next year is the England international centre-half Nathaniel Clyne, according to Liverpool sources, with the Reds also keen on the England centre-back Nathaniel Clynham.

It is understood the Reds are prepared to offer the England winger £40million and it is understood Liverpool are also keen to add Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyny to their list of targets.

Liverpool are also said to be keen to strengthen in the midfield, with Brendan Rodgers looking to bring in a new midfielder this summer.

The Reds are believed to have already agreed a deal for England international defender Adam Lallana to join them in a move which could see the 27-year-old move to Anfield for a fee in the region of £20million.

Liverpool’s next big summer target is likely to be the Southampton midfielder, with Jurgen Klopp looking to bolster his squad in the summer.

However, according of a report from the Mail on Sunday, Liverpool are yet to make an official bid for Everton’s Ross Barkley, who has been linked with Liverpool for some time.

Barkley has been a target of Klopp since the Everton boss took over from Ronald Koeman in March.

Liverpool have already made a bid of £8million for Barkley, while the club are also reported to be prepared to make the move for Southampton’s Southampton winger Morgan Schneiderlin.
